What’s New with Annuities- 1 NY Insurance CE Credit

Rates are on the rise, products are changing in a New DOL world, and three carriers have released Indexed Annuities for NY State Residents. Outside of NY, Fee Only Indexed Annuities are available; and the Guaranteed Income Riders for Indexed Annuities are getting a lot of attention from investors. This session will provide an overview on the current annuity landscape. We will also review two case studies on how clients used existing annuities that were not performing and exchanged them for income to protect their existing investment portfolio.

Cutting Edge Strategies for Disability Insurance Planning- 2 NY Insurance CE Credits

Millions of Americans have disability insurance (DI) policies - to provide income in the event of a disability - but very few have protection that will continue to fund a retirement account if they were to become disabled. This session will teach advisors how to protect one of their clients' top assets: their clients' ability to work, earn income, and save for retirement. It will also explore new Disability Programs that are designed to protect alimony and child support if a disability were to occur after the divorce. We will close out with a review of Return of Premium DI coverage that has just been released in 2017 for NY State residents.

Instructor: Lee Conti, Jr., NY State ID# NYIN-317132
