2017 FPANY CFP Exam Fee Scholarship

In order to promote the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation and to recognize member volunteers who make our chapter successful, the New York chapter is introducing a scholarship to cover the expense of taking (and passing) the CFP examination in 2017. Up to two such scholarships will be awarded this year.
Scholarship recipients will be nominated by members of the chapter’s board of directors who will substantiate the contributions of scholarship candidates as active, engaged volunteers. Eligible candidates can serve on any director’s committee or on multiple committees. The first scholarship will be awarded at the 18th Annual Spring Forum on May 8th and the second at the November Ethics meeting on November 8, 2017. Scholarship winners will be reimbursed for the CFP Exam registration fee only.
Candidates wishing to be considered for this twice annual scholarship should request the FPANY Scholarship Application Form via email from info@FPANY.org. Please note that all FPA members are eligible for a $200 discount on the CFP exam registration fee.
